gugudans Mina will be making her acting debut!

On July 12, her agency Jellyfish Entertainment said, Mina will be appearing in MBCs new Monday-Tuesday drama 20th Century Boys and Girls (working title).

Mina will be acting as Han Ye Seuls younger counterpart. She is the second gugudan member to try her hand at acting after Kim Sejeong, who will be appearing in School 2017.

Meanwhile, 20th Century Boys and Girls tells the story of three 35-year-old women, who have been single all their lives, maturing as they find love for the first time. The drama will follow The King Loves and will air its first episode in September.

gugudans Kim Sejeong may be making her debut as an actress this summer!

On May 24, it was confirmed that Kim Sejeong received an offer for a role in KBS 2TVs upcoming drama School 2017. The singers management agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, stated, Kim Sejeong has met with the production staff of School 2017 but her role has not been confirmed as we are currently in the midst of discussions with them.

If Kim Sejeong is cast in the drama, this will be her first ever official role in a drama. Although she has made appearances in dramas in the past, like KBS 2TVs The Sound of Heart from 2016, her cameos were too short to actually show off her acting capabilities. gugudans Kim Sejeong has received various offers for roles in the past but turned them down as she believed it wasnt the right time for it yet.

TVXQs Yunho To Make Acting Comeback Through Lead Role In Drama Directed By Another Oh Hae Young PD

On May 25, it was confirmed that TVXQs Yunho will be making a comeback as an actor through a drama titled Meloholic (working title).

Meloholic is based on a webtoon in which the lead character, who has the power to read peoples minds, meets and falls in love with a woman who has a split personality.

The news is attracting a good deal of attention as this will be his first project since being discharged from the military a month ago. Furthermore, the drama will be headed by PD Song Hyun Wook, who has directed dramas like Another Oh Hae Young, Introvert Boss, and Marriage, Not Dating. The multi-platform drama will be produced by the same team that produced popular KBS2 drama Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and will begin filming late May.

The idol has been cast in MBC's new Monday-Tuesday drama '20th Century Boy and Girl' (formerly 'No Sex and the City'). Jellyfish Entertainmentsaid, "Mina will be playing the child version of the main character Han Ye Seul."

Han Ye Seul will play Sa Jin Jin, an idol-turned actress. Mina has been cast as her younger role, meaning she'll be playing the idol star.

The idol has been cast as Lee Jun Ki's younger sister Choi Na Young in the upcoming tvN Wed-Thurs drama 'Criminal Minds', a remake of the American TV series of the same name. According to the production staff, Newsun was chosen out of approximately 100 actresses who auditioned. 

Starring Lee Jun Ki, Moon Chae Won, Son Hyun Joo, Lee Sun Bin, and more, 'Criminal Minds' is set to premiere on July 26 at 10:50 PM KST!
