SISTAR Shines On Music Charts And Achieves Well-Deserved All-Kill

You cant welcome summer without a successful SISTAR track, and their newest (and sadly last) title track together is yet another hit.

SISTAR released their goodbye song, Lonely on May 31 at 6 p.m. KST. Just hours later, the group marked an all-kill at 12:30 a.m. KST on June 1, notably beating out the likes of TWICE, IU, PSY, and Highlight, which have all been excelling on the charts.

Produced by Black Eyed Pilseung, Lonely is an acoustic RB track that accentuates the members vocals as they sing about a breakup. While it is one between lovers in the song, the overall message can double as a farewell to their fans in light of their disbandment following this release.

PSY Makes Triumphant Return To Music Charts And Achieves An All-Kill

What else would you expect from a hitmaker like PSY?

On May 10, the singer made a fabulous return with not one, but two music videos for I LUV IT and New Face, off of his eighth studio album 4X2=8. Both are jams doused in PSYs signature style, with equally-as-fun music videos to boot.

I LUV IT in particular appears to be a crowd favorite, as it marked first place on all eight major digital Korean music charts just hours after its release. As of 1:30 a.m. KST on May 11, I LUV IT recorded its first all-kill of this promotional era. This achievement is particularly notable given how it has become arguably more difficult for artists to mark an all-kill after the change to real-time music charts.

G-Dragon's "Superstar" also took the fifth spot while this "Outro: Divine Comedia" narrowly missed the Top 10 as it landed on # 11.
