Music Icon Seo Taiji Handpicks BTS As First Junior Artists To Join 'Project 25'; Netizens Excited About Epic Collaboration

Music icon Seo Taiji is celebrating his 25th anniversary in the Korean music by embarking on a project with junior artists to remake his best hits. The first on list of artists K-pop idol group BTS, who recently concluded the sold out US-leg of their "Wings" World Tour.

According to a report by Soompi, Seo Taiji personally handpicked BTS as his first choice of collaborators. Seo Taiji will also pick the next junior artists that will be part of his "25" project.

The "25" project is very a very meaningful undertaking for Seo Taiji because not only will this be a celebration of his music but it is also a way for his music to connect to a new generation of listeners. Seo Taiji will be working closely with BTS in arranging and producing the remake of his song to ensure that both music styles will be incorporated into the track.

Upcoming music variety program 'Snowball Project' has revealed its first teaser!

A collaborative project between SM Entertainment and Mystic Entertainment, the show will bring viewers through the creative process as NCT's Mark and solo singer Parc Jae Jung become friends, then work together for a collaboration music release!

The project, which all began after Parc Jae Jung revealed that he was a big fan of Mark, takes on a comically dramatic twist with Mystic Entertainment CEO Yoon Jong Shin turning into somewhat of a villain who wants to take advantage of Mark's fame to make Parc Jae Jung more well-known. Mark also calls on his label sunbae Henry for help, while musician Harim and guitarist Jo Jung Chi also join in for the collaboration.

For their first reality show, Red Velvet traveled to Thailand back in march to experience a different method of tourism each day. Because the filming overlapped with Joy's filming for her drama 'The Liar and His Lover', the show will feature the remaining 4 members - Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Yeri. 

'Level Up Project' will be pre-released via the mobile app 'Oksusu' on July 27 at 10 PM KST before being broadcast on KBS Joy beginning August 2 at 6:10 PM KST.
